Tennis lesson prices in Singapore vary by class format, duration, number of players, package size and court arrangement. A lower headline price is not always a like-for-like comparison.
WEsports offers group classes for kids and adults, as well as private coaching for one to four players. Group prices are charged per player per lesson. Private prices are hourly rates for the whole stated class size.
This guide sets out the current WEsports fees and explains what to confirm before making a booking.
WEsports group tennis lesson prices
The current group-class fees are per player per lesson:
- 1-hour group tennis lesson: S$110
- 1.5-hour group tennis lesson: S$160
- 2-hour group tennis lesson: S$210
Group classes can suit players who enjoy learning with others and benefit from partner drills, rallying and game situations. The correct group should still match the player’s age and experience.
WEsports lists usual group options at locations including Kallang, Yio Chu Kang and Pasir Ris. Days, times and available spaces can change. Use the live tennis class finder and confirm before attending.
WEsports private tennis lesson prices
Private coaching can be arranged for one to four players. The rates below are per hour for the whole class.
1 player
- 1 lesson: S$120 per hour
- 4 lessons: S$110 per hour
- 8 lessons: S$100 per hour
2 players
- 1 lesson: S$130 per hour
- 4 lessons: S$120 per hour
- 8 lessons: S$110 per hour
3 players
- 1 lesson: S$140 per hour
- 4 lessons: S$130 per hour
- 8 lessons: S$120 per hour
4 players

- 4 lessons: S$140 per hour
- 8 lessons: S$130 per hour
For example, the two-player four-lesson rate is S$120 per hour for the class. It is not S$120 charged separately to each player.
If WEsports needs to book another court, any applicable court charge will be confirmed separately before booking.
Group or private tennis: which costs less?
Compare the fee for your chosen duration and player numbers. Group prices are per player, while private rates cover the stated class size. Depending on the package and how many players share private coaching, a group class is not necessarily the lower-cost option.
A group format may suit someone who enjoys learning with others, wants regular rally and partner practice, can attend an existing class schedule and matches the age and level of an available group.
Private coaching may suit someone who wants more individual feedback, has a specific technical goal, needs greater scheduling flexibility, wants to learn with family members or friends, or prefers a particular location.
Read the WEsports group-versus-private tennis guide for a fuller comparison.
Why do package rates differ?
A single lesson allows a player to experience the coaching format without a longer commitment. A four-lesson package provides a more consistent period for practice and feedback. An eight-lesson package supports a longer training plan and therefore has a lower hourly rate.
Buying more lessons does not guarantee a particular result. Progress depends on attendance, practice, experience and how well the class matches the player.
Are tennis court fees included?
Court arrangements vary. WEsports uses public facilities, condominiums and other privately owned courts rather than operating from a fixed office or private tennis centre.
If you have access to a suitable condominium or private court, mention it when enquiring. Confirm that external coaching is permitted and that access can be arranged.
If another court needs to be booked, WEsports will explain any applicable venue charge before the booking is made.
